Ol Pejeta is a leading role model for integrated conservation. Every day, our rangers, vets and scientists are out in the field monitoring rhino populations and other endangered species that call Ol Pejeta home. Much of our groundbreaking work relies on the generosity of donors, and we thank every supporter who has been with us over the past two decades.
There are many ways to give to Ol Pejeta, and this week, we are celebrating DAF Day alongside NGOs, DAF providers, and donors across the United States.
What is a DAF?
A Donor-Advised Fund (“DAF”) is a charitable savings account (like a 401k for giving).
What is DAF Day?
DAF Day is a national day of giving with donor advised funds. It’s the third annual DAF Day and nonprofits of every size are asking their communities to make their DAF gifts count today. We hope Ol Pejeta Conservancy is on your list.
Why should I set up a DAF and how do I do so?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) can make charitable giving simpler, more flexible, and potentially more tax-efficient. To open up an account, you can find verified DAF providers and official DAF Day partners here.
How can I give to Ol Pejeta through my DAF?
To donate through your DAF, please fill in the grant recommendation form provided by your DAF sponsor. Depending on your geography, specify the Chapel & York US Foundation (EIN 81-2161937) as the charity. Please ensure to include the name “Ol Pejeta Conservancy UK” in the appropriate field (i.e. in the grant purpose, use, or designation field).
