Highlights from last year include:

  • Twenty one rhino calves were born! (Seventeen black and four white rhinos.) This is our highest ever recorded number of births at a growth rate of 8% from 2018.
  • Another year of zero poaching, thanks to our amazing security team and your support
  • Nine northern white rhino eggs were harvested, three of which turned into viable embryos
  • We now have twenty six exciting, immersive conservation activities available to visitors
  • Over 70 children were on full scholarships in local schools
  • More than 110,000 people came through our gates

We hope you enjoy reading the report. We are doing everything we can to ensure that our achievements from last year and their momentum are not undermined by the coronavirus pandemic. If you have any questions, contact elodie.sampere@olpejetaconservancy.org.
