We had some big wins last year:
- There were 11 rhino births, and zero incidents of poaching, which means our rhino population is growing fast.
- Just as well that the Mutara fence is half way to completion; this will provide much-needed additional habitat for rhinos and other wildlife.
- Visitor numbers to the conservancy exceeded 100,000 for the first time - 50% of these visitors were Kenyans.
- We raised and dispersed over Ksh 60 million (US$ 600,000) in support of our community development programme.
