Porini Rhino Camp is hidden in a secluded valley and set amongst shady acacia trees on the banks of a seasonal river on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Accommodation: The camp consists of six spacious guest tents, each comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms that have flush lavatories and safari showers. The camp is very environmentally-friendly with solar powered lighting and no generator.

Activities include:

  • Game drives in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicles with qualified safari guides (All the Big Five have been seen on game drives from the camp)
  • Guided walks on the open plains escorted by Maasai warriors
  • Night game drives to see the nocturnal animals
  • Sundowner drinks to watch the sunset from scenic viewing points
  • Lion Tracking (join the conservancy's research team to monitor the lions of the area as some have been collared with receivers)
  • Horse Riding excursions
  • Visits to the Morani Information Centre
  • Visits to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary (private visits to the Sanctuary outside the normal visiting hours can be arranged)
