In support of conservation tourism activities to help generate income for the local communities, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy has done the following:

• Institutional support to the Ereri Multi-cultural village
• In conjunction with the Laikipia Wildlife Forum, facilitating a consultancy to examine the possibility of developing tourism on Githira Hill for the benefit of resident communities
• In conjunction with the African Wildlife Foundation, Ol Pejeta is supporting ADC Mutara to become involved in wildlife conservation and development of tourism
