With over 300 different species of birds, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is an ornithological paradise. The Ravine River Bird Walk aims to showcase this fascinating bird varietyAccompanied by one of our experienced armed rangers, this interpretive walk through ravine forests, offers visitors a chance to see a wide variety of resident and migratory bird species, whilst still enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of the African bush. The ravine river bird walk is not designed to be strenuous however a reasonable level of fitness is required. The activity is not suitable for children under 12 years, and is restricted to a maximum group size of 6 people. Drinking water and snacks are provided. Binoculars are a must!! This activity is available daily between 06:30 – 09:30 and 15:30 – 18:30, and can be booked through your accommodation provider. It is also available to people visiting the Conservancy on day trips.
