DronesDrones

In December 2013 we conducted tests of a new drone in partnership with a US firm, Airware.

Whilst we learned a lot and blazed a trail, we have not yet identified a robust airframe that can deliver our needs. We have learnt from this and shared our findings and continue to look for investors in this area. We do not see drones as a 'silver bullet' to poaching but rather as part of a wider tool kit.  Most importantly, we believe the real potential of drones lies in data collection, in particular the cost effective and accurate capture of wildlife census data more frequently through the year.

Find out how this might be possible.
