For those of you who live in the UK, you will get a chance to watch a documentary on the four northern white rhinos that were relocated to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in December 2009. Watch "Return of the Rhino: a Last Chance to See Special" on Sunday, October 31st at 20:00 on BBC Two.
In this one-hour documentary, Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine follow attempts to move the world's rarest rhinos from a snowy zoo in the Czech Republic, to the expanses of Kenya in the hope that they will breed in the wild. With only eight of these creatures left on earth, the mission becomes a race against time to save the northern white rhino from extinction.
Return of the Rhino is part of a series called "Last Chance to See" in which Stephen Fry and Mark Cawardine head to the ends of the earth in search of animals on the edge of extinction.
The show will air on Sunday, October 31 at 20:00 on BBC Two (except Northern Ireland (Analogue), Wales (Analogue).
It will also air on Monday, November 1 at 19:30 on BBC HD.
