Every year, Travel & Leisure Magazine conducts a poll, inviting their readers to determine the very best in Travel. In this year’s poll, respondents were required to rate hotels on the five following characteristics: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.

Sweetwaters Tented Camp attained 35th position in Travel & Leisure’s Top 100 Hotels poll. It was one of only four Kenyan hotels to appear in the Top 100 Hotels listing. Other Kenyan hotels included Kichwa Tembo, Masai Mara (24th), Tortilis Camp, Amboseli National Park (44th) and Mara Safari Camp, Masai Mara, (48th).
